Wow. These are incredibly well done. I love them. Wouldn’t change a thing. Kudos to the designers! These are stunning.

These look very cool! I especially like the CHAOS cover, as I’m a castle fan.

Thoughts: Maybe add some colors to each design, instead of each design living in a specific hue. I’m sure it’s planned to be in hues as is (so what do I know?), but because of that, at a quick glance to me the covers look very similar, just in different colors.

WOW! That’s all I can say. Honestly, I just recently just picked reading and writing up. (I know, shame on me.) I have no idea what these stories are about, but the covers and titles alone make me want to purchase them. Let’s see…6 at $19.99 a piece…hmmm…okay, maybe just one at a time. Seriously great cover art though!

  • Benjamin

I like ‘em! Even though the old covers have the whole “Books of History” look to them, these book covers look a lot more like a book I’d pick up and read having never read one of Ted’s books.

  • Jennifer M

I totally voted for this style over on Facebook! It’s so awesome to see my opinion taken so seriously. I did personally like the older ones (The emblem in the corner’s too distracting to the rest of the picture…), but the re-vamped ones look just as awesome! Can’t wait to see these in person…

These covers look great, Kevin! Fantastic! They communicate to me that “the setting” for these books is wild and will be as much a part of the story as the characters.

One question: Why is the first book’s title “Chosen” higher up the cover than the rest? All the others line up. I would expect them to be all the same or all different.

I have to say those are very well done. They will certainly grab readers better than the old covers. They make the old ones look drab!

They look cool. A bit more contemporary than their hardback counterparts.

The thing I don’t understand is why books are “re-released” in the first place, sometimes after many years. I can understand you may want to make the paperbacks look different than the hardbacks, but really, if it’s only to sell more books because the covers look different, does that really work? Is it worth it?

The new covers look absolutely stunning, beautiful! Is there anything else about them that differs from the older editions?

  • Derek Bell

I love the new covers. It makes me want to go out and buy them all over again! I also love that one guy left a comment about being a castle “fan.” I want to be a fan of something cool–like castles, or swords, family shields, etc. Just what I need – something else to think I need to develop.

Wow. Those covers are amazing. I really, really love those covers. They are stunning. Kudos to the designers! I may have to pick those up. When will they be coming to a stores? Will there be a package plan for all 6?

  • David

WOW!! Those are SWEEEEEEET! One question though… will they be hardback or paperback?

I am glad that they are redoing them, I was never all that fond of the old ones and this is great since I am just getting around to the Lost Books… I am trying to get all of Ted’s books in Hardcover (the one’s that were released in hardcover) So this is PERFECT timing!

I like these. They are much better than the last round of hardcovers that made the books unappealing to me because of the juvenile flavor of the design. Sadly, I do judge a book by its cover even when I know it’s been written by an author whose writing I thoroughly enjoy. Well done on the redesign.

  • tris

excellent – i like these much more than the older versions, especially Renegade

They look very good! Can’t wait!

  • http://a-little-more-sonic.blogspot.com/ Rachel

    Whoa. Those are brilliant!

  • Brian

AHHH! These are Insane, in a good way. haha. I also want to get these in Hard Covers, are these covers published already? I want them!

  • http://www.facebook.com/jahchild101 Seth (Smoore)

I like them, but I think the older covers are my favorites. Why the change?

Are they only going to be paperback, or will there be hardcover editions as well? I was disappointed when TN didn’t release hardcover copies of the new versions of Showdown and Saint.

  • Christian

The redesigned covers look great. The only thing I would change is the alignment of the Circle symbol. It should be centred if everything else on the cover is centred. That’s just good design.
Oh, and also the ‘Chosen’ title should be lowered on the cover to the same level as the other books.
Otherwise they’re amazing. A huge improvement on the original designs (not that they were bad just a bit more juvenile).
Well done to you and your crew!

  • Jenn Stevens

Wow. They all look fabulous. A great improvement over the hard cover, and they were pretty nice. I especially like the Chaos and Elyon covers. Nice use of color. Can’t wait to get them. Nice job!

  • Jake

Nice covers. Liked the other ones, but I think these may be even better. Whoever designed it is very good!
