Chosen, Take 2 by David Pentecost

September 21, 2009 |  by KSK  |  Ted Dekker  |  , , ,
I recently met David Pentecost, an artist from Mulberry, Florida, and asked him if he’d be interested in doing some test pieces for me. He graciously said yes and drew the first few pages of the Chosen graphic novel as he would have done them (he wasn’t part of the original production team). I thought I’d share these drawings with you. If you want to check out David’s other work you can catch him HERE at his blog. Be sure to click “Read More” to see all of the images.

  1. This first piece is awesome. It’s so close to what I pictured in my mind. Thomas Hunter at center stage like that, the image just evokes feeling — as if his lifted hand alone has the power to either silence or ignite the crowd. Respect.

    Kudos, Mr. Pentecost.

  2. Wow. I definitely like this guy’s style. Looking forward to see what he can supply us Dekkies with! :D

  3. I like it. Very nice. Especially Thomas, who looks quite battle-hardened here.
